Hastelloy C276® Composition
Hastelloy C276® is primarily made of nickel with molybdenum and chromium additions. This alloy has an extremely low silicon and carbon content. While C276® alloy is considered to be a superalloy, it does not have the classic γ/γ’ microstructure, and it is not used for its creep resistance.Hastelloy C276® Format Specifications
Hastelloy C276® is also identified as: UNS N10276, Werkstoff Nr. 2.4819, Nickelvac® HC276, Inconel® 276, and Nicrofer® 5716.Hastelloy C276® Sheet is available in thicknesses ranging from .025 to .120". Hastelloy C276® strip in coil from is available in lighter gauges up 24" wide. Hastelloy C276® plate is available up 3" thick.
Hastelloy C276® Bar is available in wrought bar up to 12" diameter. Larger sizes and shapes may be forged to order.
Hastelloy C276® Seamless & Welded pipe is available up to 6" NB. Larger sizes are available in welded construction (100% X-ray) and can also be fabricated to order. Redrawn tubes and tubing with tight tolerances can be supplied in almost any size, no matter how small the size or quantity.
Butt-weld and forged Pipe fittings are available or can be manufactured with short lead times.
