Hastelloy C22® is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum solution-strengthened super-alloy with high resistance to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular attack, and stress cracking. Otherwise known as Inconel 22®, Nicrofer 5621®, Superimphy C22®, Alloy 22®, Nickel 22®, and AL 22®; Hastelloy C22® is offered in a variety of different forms for top industrial applications. The chemical composition of 56% nickel, 22% chromium, and 13% molybdenum with additions of iron, tungsten, and cobalt makes this one of the most corrosion and oxidation resistance hastelloys for applications with harsh conditions. In addition, Alloy C22® maintains top mechanical properties with a minimum yield strength of 45 ksi and can be hot or cold worked to the desired form.

Hastelloy C22® Formats
Hastelloy C22® is available in various forms, sizes, and thicknesses to suit different applications including: Hastelloy C22® sheet is available in thicknesses ranging from .038 to .141”, while Hastelloy C22® strip coil is available in lighter gauges up to 12” wide. Hastelloy C22® plate is available up to 2” thick. Hastelloy C22® bar is provided up to 11” diameter and may be forged to order. Hastelloy C22® seamless pipe is available up to 2” NB with larger sizes available in welded construction and can be fabricated to order. Hastelloy C22® tubing is provided up to 2” OD in welded and ½” OD in seamless construction while redrawn tubes and tubing with tight tolerances can be supplied in almost any size. Butt-weld and forged fittings are available or can be manufactured with short lead times.Alloy C22® Applications
